This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application designed for technicians and installers to configure Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers.

1. Camera Data
The App requests access to your device’s camera to:
- Scan QR codes and barcodes (Code128) containing charger serial numbers
- Enable quick identification and validation of EV chargers during installation
Important:
- Camera data is processed locally on your device
- Images captured during scanning are not stored or transmitted to our servers
- Only the extracted serial number text is sent to our API for validation
2. Charger Serial Numbers
When you scan or manually enter a charger serial number, we collect and process this information to:
- Validate the charger against our database
- Retrieve installation guides and configuration steps
- Track installation completion status
3. Device Information
We may automatically collect certain information about your device, including:
- Device type (iOS/Android)
- Operating system version
- App version
- Device identifiers (for crash reporting and analytics)
4. Usage Data
We may collect information about how you interact with the App, such as:
- Installation workflow progress

- Error logs and crash reports (via Expo)

Camera Permission Notice (iOS)
When you first use the scanner feature, you will see this permission request:
Allow Nordic Charge Installer App to access your camera. The camera is used to scan the serial number of the charger for installation purposes only.
You can revoke this permission at any time in your device’s Settings → Privacy → Camera.
